My Story

With nearly two decades of experience delivering events and staffing for the biggest organisations and events on the planet, I have spent the last 5 years driving success through the recruitment, training and management of teams in the children's social care sector. Defining policy and developing effective procedures and training schedules has allowed me to embed a culture of compassion and excellence. My experience allows me to own the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring that the best staff come through a smooth process into the residential homes.

I was previously an Events Operations Manager for the Mermaid Conference And Events Centre in London where I was responsible for delivering end to end events for clients that included: BBC, Virgin Media, McDonalds, Sky, Yahoo, London Olympics and many others. Managing thousands of staff and teams to ensure that these huge events ran smoothly gave me an excellent grounding in running complex teams with critical outcomes.

My experience in operations on the biggest stages helped me understand what a people function should look like and working at children's residential homes enabled me to envision the organisational culture that we are proud of. I believe that bringing together the best people will lead to the best outcomes and I am driven daily to cultivate that culture across the organisation.
